1914-1915 Star - Miniature Swing Mounted

Design

The medal features a bronze four-pointed star. The obverse of the medal has crossed swords overlayed with a wreath, and a ribbon bearing the dates "1914-15". At the base of the wreath are the initials "GV". The reverse is plain, traditionally engraved with the recipient's name and service number.

The ribbon of the medal has gradient vertical stripes of red, white, and blue.
